Camp Woolman is unique because of its small size, noncompetitive nature, and special focus on environmental and peace education. Our campers are constantly telling us that camp taught them that it is okay to be who they are. One of the best things about our camp is the diversity of kids that come here. We have homeschoolers, public schoolers, and private schoolers, world travelers, homebodies, athletic kids, artists, musicians, scientists, never been outside before kids, never want to go inside kids, loud kids, shy kids, etc. Everyone is accepted for who they truly are at camp, and creating a compassionate and supportive community is our number one goal. Camp is about having fun, being independent, making friends, and challenging yourself to try out new things.
